5 Easy Steps to Build a Content Empire
What if I told you that you have to produce a weekly YouTube video, a weekly newsletter, multiple blog posts, daily LinkedIn posts, and twice-daily X posts?
Feel overwhelmed by the idea of that?
Me too.
But.
I'm gonna make it easy for you.
What I'm about to show you...works.
Let's get into it:
Step 1: Focus on the hook
The hook matters.
That, and that alone, is what stops people from scrolling and makes them click.
If your hook sucks, then the post will be read by less people.
Which means fewer views.
Which means fewer subscribers.
Which means fewer customers.
You got access to hundreds of hooks when you joined this newsletter, you downloaded those...right?
Step 2: Write a thread
Take the hook and turn it into a thread.
A thread is the richest and punchiest version of the content.
Even if you're not going to publish a thread to X (or Threads), I recommend you write one and store it.
Remember, less words is better than more words.
Boil your idea right down until there is almost nothing left.
You can cross-post this thread as a carousel on LinkedIn and Instagram using Hypefury.
Step 3: Beef it up for LinkedIn
This part is easy!
Copy the thread.
Paste it into LinkedIn.
And add some more words to make it all flow better.
For bonus points, add a graphic or a photo along with it.
Step 4: Beef it up for a newsletter/blog
This is where you can be adventurous.
Take the LinkedIn post and put it into ChatGPT/Gemini etc and ask it to turn it into a newsletter/blog.
You NEED to review and change the output to ensure it’s a true reflection of how you speak/write.
Alternatively, you can write it all manually.
I recommend playing with AI so that you understand where these tools are useful and where they aren't.
Step 5: Tweak it for a YouTube script
Take your LinkedIn post and adjust it so that it reads well as a script for a YouTube video.
The easiest way?
Read the newsletter/blog post out loud and edit as you go.
